Great Vacation Camera
This review will PowerShot SD1200 actual owner of the user’s perspective, how well this camera performs.
First, you’ll be the first to notice the size PowerShot SD1200. He is so small, you, you will fit in your hand. The size should be a key factor when choosing a camera. If you ever rested with the camera, you know that less is better. And one that can fit in your purse or back pocket is the best! The longer you have to carry large, bulky camera, the more he feels at the end of the day. Soon you will not even bring my big camera more – it’s too inconvient.
When you first look at the PowerShot SD1200, it is so small that you tend to wonder: “Will the shot be worth?” “I’ll be happy with the color?” “Will the picture be clear and sharp?” I was pleasantly surprised! With one exception, the pictures were incredible – very detailed, clear, beautiful colors.
The exception was in low light photography – it came out very grainy – very disappointing, especially when compared with other beautiful pictures he took. Now it happened when setting ISO (sensor sensitivity), gets the value of 400 and above – the higher the number, grainy pictures. The good news is that most of the photos taken at the level below 400. Thus, although this is a drawback, in my opinion, this does not affect many of my paintings.
Once struck by its size and image quality, the next thing I looked at my review of the PowerShot SD1200 were programmed shooting modes, including “Smart mode to Auto. This mode will determine the appropriate settings for photos, so you can focus on the topic.
Another mode, which is usually not on the sub-compact cameras, is the “Program” mode, which allows you to have more control over individual settings. It is very convenient if you know what you’re doing or potentially catastrophic picture if you do not know.
Several other modes found Macro – used for extreme close-ups, like flowers – and “Children and pets – sets the camera for fast autofocus and shutter speed.
Other features worth noting are optical image stabilization technology, which prevents blurry images due to shaky hands, and 3-fold zoom, which allows you to get in closer to the subject. This camera is also equipped with a 2.5-inch LCD screen and viewfinder.
In summary, this review PowerShot SD1200 showed that it is a great little camera, especially to bring on vacation. It’s very lightweight and small, that makes it easy to take around the world, and still takes an amazing photo. Many preset modes help you get the picture you want.
Simply put, PowerShot SD1200 is a small, lightweight, point and click camera, that really has some fantastic photos. For the money, you can not beat this camera – for recreation, or just everyday use.
