Attract Happiness

July 27, 2010

I wonder whether you noticed the article the columnist David Brooks: The New York Times “called” Trade Sandra Bullock. That, of course, caught my attention as it focuses on the interaction of personal and professional success to the level of happiness.

Over the past few years, many studies have been conducted with respect to the science of happiness. The state of happiness in the end, what we all want to experience. There are many different and diverse goals that we could continue, but ultimately the thing we want through any of these different routes of happiness.

One of the many pieces of research have revealed that to achieve professional success does not necessarily mean that you will reach the appropriate level of happiness. But success in personal life, in marriage or intimate relationship, do not provide a good idea of happiness. More money can lead you to greater joy, but not necessarily, a good relationship with a much more likely to pave the way to happiness (as well as life expectancy, but that’s another story).

So why are many people in this day and age it seems so fixed on his career and monetary goals, seemingly oblivious to the possible negative effects on their relationship? I think we’re looking for happiness in the wrong place and perhaps the time has come for many of us to step back and look at our life from another point of view.

It may, however, it is difficult to do when we live in a society where our self-confidence, self-esteem and pride are often measured by what we do, not who we really. Our sense of identity may become blurred and indistinct, as our professional persona is becoming more and more, and our inner world fades into the background. Over time it becomes easier to live with this person, as she becomes more familiar to us, and often shields us from our fears and doubts.

Many of us reach a point where we do not want to let either the attributes of a successful career or a person that a successful professional image. But if it does not make you happy, or, worse yet, standing in the way of your happiness, then it’s time for change. When we reach this understanding, it was important to move beyond some of these surface layers and look at them, rather than domestic realities.

Hypnosis can be very helpful in this process because it allows access to the subconscious, where some of instinctive behavior, thoughts, and stored. In fact, hypnosis allows you to take a step back and look at things from another point of view. Hypnosis helps you relax in the moment and feel happy at the same time.

We know from research that have good relations close is the best indicator of happiness than anything else. Thus, the most important thing to focus on in order to bring happiness into your life, this is an area of personal relationships. When you create a deeper and more meaningful bonds in a personal relationship you’ll get much more joy than to professional success.
